The St. Mary’s Council of the Knights of Columbus held their 2018 Free Throw Challenge on January 17th at Cherry Creek Elementary School. The event drew area kids between the ages of 9-14 to show off their basketball shooting skills. The challenge separated participants into categories divided by age and gender. Each was given the chance to shoot 15 free throws, and those with the most baskets won.
All the challenge winners are shown above. Plus, the next stop for Ava McCormick, Emma McCormick, Ethan Dennings, Eli Woolery, Leah Krieger, Ben Gaskin and Caleb Woolery is the Diocesan competition scheduled for February 25th in Belmont.
