Hooked on a Feeling
Dlouhy found a love for baking as a child watching her mom prepare sweets in the kitchen.  “I started as a young girl sitting on a stool watching my mom bake as she always loved it.” she remembers.  After working in a long city government career she became a victim of downsizing which opened the doors to culinary school.  Dlouhy graduated from Secchia Culinary Institute in 2014 as a certified pastry chef.

As pastry chef and bakery manager at Vela the last two months they were open she decided to take over the space as her own.  As part of culinary school Dlouhy had to come up with a business name and model as part of an assignment.  Now upon fulfilling her dream she used Sweet Seasons, keeping the name envisioned years ago.  “It seemed like an opportunity for me to reopen as the owner since I really enjoyed it and Lowell is my town, my people and I felt like I could give the place what it needed.” says Dlouhy.

On to the Yummy Stuff
Dlouhy is known by some as the Cheesecake Lady.  But customers will find her Italian buttercream cupcakes, cookies, brownies, and other sweet offerings eager to return for more.  Grain free options are also in the works.  Special orders can also be placed for party needs or if you feel the need to treat the family.  Catering is also available.  Stop in for more details about how Sweet Seasons can help you.
