Arrow Veterinary Clinic Ready to Serve

Arrow Veterinary Clinic has purchased the former Animal Hospital of Lowell.  Although there is a change in name and management, many of the faces will remain.  Doctor Nicole Tremain has been worked in the facility as the only veterinarian for the past two years.  As the new owner, she is eager incorporate her own touches at the clinic.

The Doctor is In
The staff of five, including Dr. Tremain, consist of a Practice Manager, a Lead Technician, Administrative Assistant, and Veterinary Assistant all with experience at the facility.  Dr. Tremain attended Michigan State University with a focus on Animal Science.  Deciding to take it further, she graduated with a degree from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009 and has since been practicing.

Tremain, along with her son, two daughters and partner Glenn, are somewhat new to the Lowell area but have been enjoying the feel of community from a small town.  When not taking care of animals she can be found watching MSU sports or spending time outside with her kids.

Services Offered
Arrow Veterinary Clinic’s patients include cats, dogs, birds, pocket pets and are one of the few local vets to care for mini pigs.  The facility will no longer offer boarding and grooming services.  “We are focusing our resources on tending to the care of our small animal patients as a veterinary office only.” says Practice Manager Sara Karasinski, who has worked in the clinic since 2012.   Care given to patients includes routine and preventative care, surgeries such as spays, neuters, and orthopedic.  Dr. Tremain has experience pperforming surgeries such as amputations, enucleations, and mass removal.

A new website is in the works which will give clients the ability to sign up for text and email reminders, access pet records, refill prescriptions, and request appointments.  Arrow Veterinary Clinic now accept Care Credit and American Express payment methods as well.

Part of the CommunityTake a look at the Arrow Veterinary Clinic’s logo.  Do you see three As in the arrow?  They represent each

of Dr. Tremain’s kids Aiden, Alexandra, and Ashtyn.  The staff at the clinic is looking forward to continuing their work in the community.  They work with rescues such as Carol’s Ferals, who is part of Lowell’s First Look’s Furry Friday Series, to help reduce the cost of basic care and spay or neuter surgery before adoption.

Arrow Veterinary Clinic is open 8 am – 5 pm Monday through Friday.  Their Facebook page has information about the clinic, including ways contact them with questions or to set up an appointment.
