Christmas Through Lowell: Vendor/Business Profiles Week 3

This week and the following two weeks we will be bringing you information on some of the vendors and businesses participating in Christmas Through Lowell.  We’ve showcased Sheila Phenix of Idle Tyme Creations, this year’s featured artist, our first week of vendor/business profiles, and our second week of vendor/business profiles.  This week we bring you another set of spots participating in Christmas Through Lowell.

Items available: Over 20 vendors will have numerous unique items.  Check out the Red Barn event for a full list.
Business Tidbit: This is the fourth year we’ve been participating.  Our location also has a public restroom, lunch/dinner, and full ice cream parlor!

Vendor/Business Name: First Congregational Church of Lowell
Location: #16 – 865 Lincoln Lake SE
Items available: Jewelry, signs, homemade pies, jams, rolls, wine, soaps and bath items, holiday ornaments and decor, baby bibs and burp cloths, kitchen towels, kitchen wash cloths, Christmas wreaths, embellished clothing, hair accessories, American Girl items, wool mittens and hats, fabric art, children’s author (signing books Friday night and all day Saturday, wildlife photography, children’s toys, wind chimes, and more!
Business Tidbit: This is the 11th year this location has been participating in Christmas Through Lowell.  There will be 19 vendors selling a variety of items.  Food and beverages will be served all day Friday and Saturday.  The building is handicap accessible and provides convenient parking.

Vendor/Business Name: Studio 506
Contact Person: Nancy Raymor
Location: #31 – 506 Lafayette
Items available: Glass work, metal work, signs, book art, jewelry and much much more!
Business Tidbit: This location is back after many years.  A friend of Nancy’s suggested the business name and she loved it right away.  There will be approximately eight vendors at this location.  Custom work can be ordered.

Ability Weavers

Items available: Handwoven rag rugs, fuzzy rugs, premium wool rugs, handwoven dish towels, table runners, handbags, and beaded jewelry.
Business Tidbit: All of our woven products are created on our 10 floor looms located inside our store.  We also have craft items for you to make at home.  Ability Weavers emphasizes our focus on each individuals ability, not their disability.  Ability Weavers provides meaningful employment for adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. All profits are used only to hire more Weavers.  This is the second year Ability Weavers has participated in Christmas Through Lowell.

Vendor/Business Name: All Weather Seal
Location: A – 319 E. Main St.
Items available: Information and free quotes on metal roofing, windows, siding, and patio and entry doors.  $15K home improvement drawing.  Holiday decorations for sale, as well as essential oils, candles and bath bombs.  FREE holiday drinks, food and fun!
Business Tidbit: In business for over 36 years, All Weather Seal is a strong supporter of Lowell and its surrounding communities.  Visitors to our Christmas Through Lowell event can engage in great conversation with our representatives, have fun, play games, win prizes, enter a home improvements drawing and gain valuable home improvement knowledge free of charge.  Since we are a small, family and locally owned Michigan business, we do not close up shop at this time of year like many larger, national businesses.  All of our employees actually work for us.  (We don’t use subcontractors.)  Their families depend on us.  So, we like to keep them busy and offer deep discounts at this time of year on our free, information-only quotes, which people find helpful when planning and budgeting for future projects.  It’s also of benefit to Christmas Through Lowell attendees to get a “one-up” on projects that they may be planning in the spring when all home improvement companies are so busy that they just can’t get to everyone.  Please stop by and visit with us!  We can’t wait to see you!  Happy Holidays!

Items available: Beach glass jewelry, doll clothes and accessories, knitted toys, mittens, and cat hats, water-color prints, jewelry with precious stones, baby items, key fobs, sand-blasted glassware and mirrors, celebration boards, floral solar lights, lighted bottles, decals, ornaments, key chains, dog tags, wooden cars and trucks, and more.  We are only open on Friday and Saturday.

Items available: We will have 10-12 vendors selling signs, homemade cosmetics, deodorant, and lotions, antiques, home decor, and more.  This is the first year we’re participating in Christmas Through Lowell.

Items available: Women’s Clothing Boutique from styles all over the world! – gifts, accessories, shoes, socks, tights, men’s wear, tea room & many local Michigan Made artists products.
Business Tidbit: I have a love of boutique clothing and traveling to taste beer at new breweries. We keep our local New Union’s Root Beer on tap!  This is our 3rd year participating. Our first year was in the back of Pep Talk on main street before we had a store front.  Our unique clothing styles from all over the world will give you a one of kind flare. Shop local and support Tap House Bo local artists in Lowell, Middleville, Ada, Grand Rapids, Jenison, Traverse City, Grand Haven, & Fenwick.
