Culver’s broke ground in November of last year with expectations of opening in May of this year. Owner-operator Steve Stephan says that stages of the hiring process have begun and the restaurant is on schedule to open in mid-May.
Seeking Managers Now, Others in Coming Months
Currently, the new location is seeking managers. According to Stephan, there’s a goal of hiring 6-8 from the area. There’s a $16-$19.50 starting wage per hour for these positions. The number could even be higher based on experience.
Starting in March both a full-time and part-time maintenance technician will be hired. The hourly wage for these positions is $17 and $15.50 respectively.
Finally, in April the push to hire 45-55 “front of the house and back of the house” members of the team will take place. There will be approximately 8-12 full-time positions and the rest will be filled with those working part-time. The starting age for being hired is 14 with a starting wage of $11.25 for minors and $14 for adults. Those with more experience can expect additional compensation.
