For Ryne Clarke, program assistant at Lowell Arts and sound technician at Sound Check, the partnership between these two organizations feels especially meaningful. As a musician from Lowell himself, Clarke knows firsthand how difficult it can be to find performance spaces in town. His personal connection to both the local music scene and this new venue highlights why Sound Check is such an important addition to Lowell. He explains:

“I first performed at Lowell Arts with my high school band during my album release show. It was exciting to bring music to a local space, but the setup wasn’t ideal for regular live performances. When I got the chance to play at Sound Check, I was blown away by how well it was designed for music. Now, I’m thrilled to be a part of both organizations as they come together to support local talent and give residents a chance to enjoy live music in their hometown.”

If you’ve been craving live music but don’t want to travel far, Sound Check is the answer. This is more than just a venue—it’s a rare gem in Lowell where community members can come together to enjoy incredible performances from local artists in an intimate space. Don’t miss out on what promises to be an amazing concert series that highlights the best of what Lowell has to offer.
