Stewardship Sundays @ WWC

No Registration needed, just drop in!

Stewardship volunteers are needed throughout the fall! We have a variety of activities: weeding, planting the last native plants we grew out this summer, transplanting, reseeding fescue lawn areas, harvesting and cleaning seed, turning the compost pile, removing cattails from the “bog” and pond, monitoring new prairie areas and adding seed.

This is a great way to learn more about ecological landscape practices and species identification. Groups, troops, and teams are encouraged!

Participants should wear appropriate clothing for outdoor work, including long pants and sturdy shoes. Appropriate and fun for ALL ages! Tools and work gloves provided. Please consider volunteering your time to help protect and improve the quality of this great community resource.
