On June 20 Flat River Outreach Ministries (FROM) will be throwing a party. Everyone in the community is invited! They will be celebrating 20 years in the Lowell community. Tickets, which are $20 each, are on sale now for this event, to be held at Witt’s Inn.
Celebrating Success – Past, Present, and Future
FROM has a lot to celebrate. They’ve accomplished a great deal in two decades, as they’ve offered food, tax preparation services, medical equipment, help with paying utility bills, and much more throughout the years. Their Food Mobile, Lunch Buddies, and Christmas Distribution are just a handful of ways people in the Lowell community are being helped. This party is a way to gather and have fun – it’s not a fundraising event.
The evening’s theme is Roaring 20s. Guests are encouraged to dress the part of the era, but it’s not required for admission. Dinner will be catered by Miss P’s. A short program will highlight how FROM started and some of the organization’s accomplishments over the past two decades. Plans will also be unveiled for a new housing program called Main Street Housing.
Guests will also have the opportunity to bid on silent auction items which include Madame Alexander dolls, vintage Kitchaid mixer, Galahad II mechanical mantle clock, vintage drafting set, and more. Surely there’s something you can’t live without! Roger McNaughton will also be on-hand providing entertainment for the evening.
The FROM 20th Birthday Celebration is an event and experience not to miss. Mark your calendar for June 20 at 6pm.
