We received the following information from Flat River Outreach Ministries regarding their April volunteer of the month.
The Volunteer of the Month for April is Erin Bartkus.
Erin has been volunteering since 2008 when she started with her high school’s community-based job training program which pairs individuals with special needs with work or volunteer opportunities. She took a few years off of volunteering, but decided to come back to FROM in 2015 and we are so happy to have her here.
Erin volunteers in Treasures Thrift Shop two times each week hanging pants and enjoys the work she does. She is very dedicated and, since 2015, she has volunteered 434 hours! She also goes to the Y every week for exercise and to Ability Weavers twice a week.
Erin has a real gift of remembering names and likes to come in and say ‘hi’ to all the volunteers and staff by name each time she’s here.
Thank you Erin for volunteering and always being so friendly to everyone you come in contact with. We are glad you are a part of the FROM family.
