We received the following information from Flat River Outreach Ministries about their August volunteers of the month.
For August we want to recognize our Treasures Thrift Shop Display Team (left to right: Sue Houseman, Sable Zambrana and Marcia Kapolka). These ladies work together to create the wonderful displays you see when you first come into the thrift shop. They come up with the theme for the bi-weekly displays, work with many different departments to get the items they need and arrange and display each of the items.
In addition each of these ladies also volunteers their time in other ways throughout the thrift store. Sue works with the hunting items, cleans the store and re-stocks items as needed. Sable helps with re-stocking and arranging items throughout the store. Marcia says her main love is all things Halloween and she also helps in the donation room with sorting and cleaning.
These ladies together have volunteered nearly 800 hours in the store and each have a passion and desire to serve our community well.
Thank you ladies for all you do in Treasures Thrift Shop! We appreciate the time and energy you bring to each and every task you do as well as your dedication to making each and every display beautiful.
