Stanley and Jim are one of 7 puppies born at MAS. Stevie was the Momma, and she is a beautiful white terrier mix. Stevie is medium weight and a great Mom. Very kind and tentative to the puppies. We will be taking applications for the puppies now. We will start showing them after Sept 17. They will not be ready though to go home until Mid-October 2019.

Vicky’s Pet Connection

Vicky’s Pet Connection works with the Kent County Animal Shelter to rescue cats and kittens.  They also take in dogs older in age and those needing special care. Here are their pets of the week.

My name is Tootsie and I have been a surrogate mom to many orphans! I loved them like they were my own and they’ve all grown into fabulous kittens. I need a bit of ME time now–maybe YOU could pamper me! I’m about 2 years old and very playful. I’ve been having a blast with my roomie, Cleopatra. Maybe you could adopt her too. I’m independent, as some cats tend to be, but I do enjoy affection.

Hearts of Hope Dog Rescue

Hearts of Hope Dog Rescue look to find dogs and sometimes cats in their care forever homes with the help of foster homes.  Here are their pets of the week.

Brooklyn is a Senior Staffy with the heart of a puppy. She is pint sized, easy to hug and so easy to love. This sweetheart is very smart; she knows how to shake with each paw, and she loves sitting pretty for her cookies. Brooklyn has a very calming presence. She is very laid back, but also has sprinkled moments of insane cuteness and playfulness. She loves her foster sibling and she adores all dogs and cats. We think she would prefer a home without smaller children. Brooklyn is going to fill a home with so much love. There is something truly special inside her. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her shots. Her adoption fee is $150.To adopt this lovable munchkin apply at www.rescueofhope.com/adoption-application
