Furry Friday

The following animals are available for adoption.  If you find an animal you’d like to adopt please contact the organization directly.  Lowell’s First Look does not assist with the adoption process.  And if you’re looking to add to your family and don’t see an animal below, each organization has additional cats, dogs, or farm animals looking for new homes.   Pet profiles and photos are provided by each organization.

For additional information about each organization visit their websites or read our intro article to Furry Friday!

Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary

Those involved with Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary take pride in finding the right home for dogs in their care. Here are their pets of the week.

My name is Selena. My D.O.B. is 11/23/17. My siblings and I, and our Momma, were found by a nice man, in his barn, during all of the cold weather. He was kind enough to make sure we went to a place safe.

I am such a sweetie pie, along with my 10 brothers and sisters. Right now Mackenzie’s is taking applications for adoptions.

Vicky’s Pet Connection

Vicky’s Pet Connection works with the Kent County Animal Shelter to rescue cats and kittens.  They also take in dogs older in age and those needing special care. Here are their pets of the week.

This little black panther is Cleo and she is a buttery-soft girl with a motor that any car-enthusiast would be jealous of! It’s loud and, if you are giving her attention, she is happy to share it with you! She’s just a teenager at 6 months old and is busy, playful and fun. She has a sibling named Cupid so if you are looking for two kitties…consider adopting both!
If you would like to adopt this kitty, please fill out an Adoption Application at vickyspetconnection.org. A volunteer will contact you–usually within 24 hours.
