Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary
Those involved with Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary take pride in finding the right home for dogs in their care. Here are their pets of the week.
It’s that time of year again, and Ace is longing for a new home. He has been at MAS for a while now, and keeps getting passed up in adoption meetings. Always the Best Man never the Groom. He is a little bit shy, but loves older kids and running, and playing in the pond, and taking long walks and just hanging out with the family. He is best as an only dog, although he did come in with his sister Olive….he is better without other dogs to much in his face.
Olive is a beautiful, cuddly and smart female Boxer/Terrier/Mix. Her D.O.B. is 08/03/10. She came in with Ace who looks just like her – possibly from the same litter. While Olive loves to go on long walks, she also loves to lay in the sunshine – preferably with the company of her humans! She can also be very playful, and likes to play fetch. Olive knows her commands and is working on perfecting them. Olive has done well on her kid intros. She would prefer to the be the only pet in the home. Please come and see her soon.
Hearts of Hope Dog Rescue
Hearts of Hope Dog Rescue look to find dogs in their care forever homes with the help of foster homes. Here are their pets of the week.
This little cutie is Caroline! She’s a 1 year old, 15 pound min pin mix that is just full of energy! She gets along with other dogs, but we haven’t seen her around cats. Since she’s young, she would benefit from obedience training but she’s currently doing great at her foster home! She and her foster mom are currently working on basic commands. Caroline will be her forever human’s shadow and will need someone who will love to snuggle and spend their time with her. She is house trained and crate trained. She’s spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $200. Apply to adopt Caroline here: https://rescueofhope.com/adoption-application/
Pretty Pearla is a 40 pound, one and a half year old Staffy/Boxer Mix who loves snuggling on the couch with her humans. Pearla listens very well and loves to learn new things. She is very eager to please her foster parents. She is crate trained, house trained, and is currently working on basic commands! This little cutie gets along very well with children and other dogs. We don’t yet know how she feels about cats. Pearla’s foster parents describe her as a gentle and loving pup who wants to be their shadow and do whatever they’re doing. She has so much love to give, and she gives it generously. Please come meet this adorable pup! She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on shots. Her adoption fee is $200. Apply to adopt Pearla here: https://rescueofhope.com/adoption-application/
