Have you ever wondered why the tradition of smooching under a sprig of mistletoe at Christmas time started? Someone at MAS read a story to me about a god being struck down with an arrow made from a mistletoe plant, so his mother goddess mandated a promise of a kiss to ensure that mistletoe was never used for violence again. So mistletoe became a symbol of love and peace, through the grief of tragedy.
I don’t know if there is truth in the story, but I can promise you that I will do my best to live up to being a symbol of peace and love at home with you! I say that I will do my best, because I do have a bit of prey drive; so I cannot promise I will be so loving and peaceful to small critters like cats, squirrels, or small dogs. But I have done well with some other dogs my own size. If you have a dog, have no fear! MAS does dog introductions before I go home to make sure we are a merry match!
Before meeting me, you should know that I am as sweet as a Christmas cookie and I love being around people…I have some pep in my step so I might be a little much for very small kids (I would hate to knock over a small one when I get excited with the zooms). They say that nobody is perfect, but I would have to say I have got to be pretty darn close!
If you have some extra smooches for a sweetheart like me, submit your adoption application to meet me!

Ziggy is a very energetic, curious cat. He wants to be a part of everything you are doing. He has his moments where he settles, but he is always alert for the next thing you might be doing. He needs and wants a lot of stimulus. His favorite game and activity is chase! He’s a natural hunter and has easily figured out a treat activity board! He is chatty and loves holding a conversation with you. He loves to explore and be up on top of things. He is not picky about food and is very food motivated! We would not recommend Ziggy in a home with small children – he likes to nibble for attention when he is bored or hungry and sometimes gets overstimulated when being pet. Ziggy would thrive in a home with another very playful cat.
Ziggy has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He has an approximate birthdate of October 2021. His adoption fee is $95.
