50% gentleman, 50% derp-dog and 100% inquisitive…they say curiosity killed the cat, but what did it do to the dog? Lets find out together!

Spending time with my favorite people is by far one of the greatest thing in the world to me! I live for booty scratches and am so excited to snuggle up on the couch. Sometimes I get a little too excited and end up falling off the couch…Don’t worry, I am a hefty dude and wont hurt myself in my buffoonery. Some of my additional antics include chasing my shadow, playing with my food bowls, doing acrobatic somersaults for belly rubs, snuffling around into tight corners, and doing very “graceful” cannonball splashes in the MAS pond!

You may have noticed I have some pretty unique eyes. When I was rescued, I had what is called entropion (a condition in which my eyelids rolled inward against my eyeballs) that was surgically repaired and cured. This is something that should not cause me any future issues now that it has been corrected.

I am such a happy goofy guy – guaranteed to keep you laughing even on the most stressful days! But once I get all my “giddy’s” out, I am a complete gentleman and love to just laze about soaking up your company. It truly goes to speak of my resilience, because before I came to MAS, I was in a home that was not good to me…and they threw me out like I was garbage. You know what though, I know better. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure, and I am definitely a treasure to be had! Though, the experience has made meeting new people a bit intimidating for me…I am hoping that somewhere out there, there is a family that understands. Preferably a family that doesn’t have other pets…

If you are looking for a diamond in the rough, check out the MAS website below and submit your adoption application for a chance to meet me and bring me home!

She’s independent and keeps herself occupied but also insists on snuggles when its nap time. Judy has never met a dog, human, or snack she did not love immediately. She also makes the most amazing dinosaur noises when she thinks you could be making her dinner faster. She is potty trained and sleeps like a dream in her crate. Judy is spayed, microchipped and current on her vaccines. Her adoption fee is $300.

Meet Oliver, a big, handsome tuxedo boy. When Oliver originally came to Second Chance he had showed up at a stranger’s home and the owners began feeding him. He originally seemed feral, but the 15 year boy who lived at the home began gaining his trust. He would come out with the food bowl and eventually Oliver would stay and eat while the bowl was being held. He became a total ham and they quickly realized he was NOT feral. He was soon brought into their home while they looked for placement for him. After a short while with Second Chance Oliver was adopted. Sadly, after a couple of years his owner passed away unexpectedly and Oliver has been returned to us.

Oliver is extremely friendly and LOVES to be close to people. He especially likes giving kisses! Oliver enjoys sitting on a lap and also likes to sleep next to people. Oliver has a playful side as well. Food is a good way to Oliver’s heart as he is very food motivated. We believe Oliver would appreciate being king of his own castle. Given how much loss he has endured having an adopter all to himself would be a gift for this charming, sweet guy who deserves to be spoiled and made to feel special.

Oliver is currently at Chow Hound at 2490 Burton St SE and would love to have you visit!

Oliver has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He has an approximate birthdate of June. 2020. His adoption fee is $95.
