Furry Friday: Soren, Saber, Smudge and Tilly

The following animals are available for adoption.  If you find an animal you’d like to adopt please contact the organization directly.  Lowell’s First Look does not assist with the adoption process.  And if you’re looking to add to your family and don’t see an animal below, each organization has additional animals looking for new homes.   Pet profiles and photos are provided by each organization.

Hey, you! Yes, you! Looking for a lovable goofball to brighten your days? Hey there! I’m Soren, the floppy, wiggle-tastic liquid dog!

They say I’m hilariously awkward, but I like to think of it as my unique charm! With my super long tail wagging like a happy helicopter, I’m always ready to make a splash—literally! Whether it’s chasing water or zooming around from my own excitement, I’ve basically earned my PhD in slippery maneuvers!

I’m great with kids and absolutely love their energy, but I’m still learning some manners. My excitement could knock over little ones, so I’ll need a patient family to help me refine my skills! I’m also busy making new canine pals and would totally love a furry sibling to join in on my adventures. My outlook on life is pretty infectious; I wake up each day excited and ready to learn about the world! ….maybe with a few snacks and cuddle breaks. Yes, please! I can’t get enough of them!

If you’re looking for a pup who’s equal parts playful and goofy, I’m your guy! Apply today to adopt me, and let’s see if you can handle all my floppy, wiggly goodness! Get ready for some serious tail-wagging and laughter!

Smudge was found in a ditch, dumped along with his sister Tilly. They were found with a huge bag of cat food which was soaked from the rain. They were subsequently altered, given vaccines and made their way to Second Chance Cats.

Smudge is a little uncertain yet, given the circumstances he came from. You can easily approach him and pet him. He may not be the one to approach you first, but he is a sweet boy. He is gentle and quiet and gets along with his roommates.

Tilly was found with her brother, Smudge. She was very thin and had almost no fur. She now has the softest and shiniest fur! Like her brother, she is very sweet and gentle. She is a little more adventurous but still prefers you approach her first. Both Tilly and Smudge like a slow, gentle approach to pets.

Tilly and Smudge are considered bonded and must be adopted together.

Tilly and Smudge are FIV+. Cats with FIV can still enjoy long, healthy lives, much like cats without the virus. With regular vet check-ups, a balanced diet, and being kept indoors to minimize exposure to other infections, FIV-positive cats can thrive and live just as long as their FIV-negative counterparts.

Tilly and Smudge have been altered, vaccinated and microchipped. Tilly has an approximate birthdate of February, 2023 and Smudge has an approximate birthdate of July, 2022. Their adoption fee is $190.

Apply to adopt Smudge and Tilly here.
