GOOD IN A HOME WITH
Children, other dogs
Meet Walter – a quiet soul with a heart as big as his gentle eyes. This stoic gentleman may be shy, but he’s trying his very best to step out of his shell, one paw at a time. He’s looking for a peaceful home where he can continue to build his confidence at his own pace, with patient and understanding humans by his side.
Walter isn’t one for chaos or commotion. He enjoys the quiet company of other dogs but prefers peaceful coexistence over playful antics. His true appreciation lies in the simple things—companionship, a comfortable spot to observe the world, and well-earned booty scratches. He is most comfortable around calm, older children who understand the value of patience and respect his gentle nature.
If you’re looking for a steadfast and gentle companion who values the unspoken bond of trust and understanding, Walter is waiting. To adopt or foster Walter, submit your application at the MAS website below.

Meet Suede whose is neither a Swedish rock band nor a form of leather, but he is one cool cat! Found abandoned outside an apartment complex overrun with cats, Suede was trapped by a community care giver and readied for adoption at Second Chance.
Suede has a distinctive look and some nice sized ears which make him very distinguished from other tabbies. Suede is playful, curious, and wants your attention. Suede has been described as super sweet by volunteers and he will easily give you purrs when pet. Suede would make a great family cat, full of energy and playfulness and seeks affection but would prefer to be the only cat. He isn’t fond of other felines and would prefer to have your attention all to himself!
If you’d like to meet Suede he is at ChowHound Cascade 6787 Cascade SE.
Suede has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Suede is approximately 2 years old. Suede’s adoption fee is $95.
