The start of classes is just two weeks away for students at Lowell Area Schools. If you have a student heading to Lowell Middle School, here are the dates and times you need so your child will be ready to hit the books on August 22.

August 14: School office opens with hours from 8 AM – 3 PM
*If you need to register a new student, you can do it by appointment on August 14. Call Gail at 987-2817 to reserve a time with a student counselor.
August 15: Student schedules available on the student/parent online portal. They will also be available during the Smart Start dates below.
*If you or your student saw a schedule online prior to today, it was a work in progress and may not be correct. Please check again once available on August 15.
Smart Start
These are the dates when your student will get their schedule and locker. They will also take a tour of the building and have their photo taken.
- 6th Grade Smart Start – Wednesday, August 16th from 3-6 PM.
- 7th Grade Smart Start – Thursday, August 17th from 10 AM-12 PM.
- 8th Grade Smart Start – Thursday, August 18th from 1-3 PM
August 21: Meet the Teacher Night from 3-6 PM.
August 21: Band/Orchestra Fittings from 3-6 PM.
August 22: Back to School! It’s a full day with classes running from 7:50 AM – 2:40 PM
