It Takes a Team: March Volunteers of the Month at FROM

The March Volunteer of the Month for Treasures Thrift Shop isn’t one person. It’s a whole team of people!

This month, Flat River Outreach Ministries is recognizing the efforts of the Treasures Thrift Shop Supervisor Team.

“The supervisors at Treasures are the best,” says Kathy Southland, Thrift Shop Coordinator. “From opening the store to getting change at the bank to coming in to cover when someone calls in sick, they are always here for me. They all take pride in the store and are very dedicated to our mission. I am very thankful for each one.”

The team helps the store run smoothly and, as many of you know, the store provides key funding for FROM programs. In fact, there are more than 300 people who volunteer in the Treasures Thrift Shop both behind the scenes and at the cash register, and the supervisor team needs to guide their work as well as the overall daily operations of the store.
