J-Dubb’s Makes Subs Using All Michigan Products

J-Dubb’s Signature Subs opened in Lowell last fall.  Since then, they have been offering hot and cold subs made with Michigan products.  Located at the Marathon gas station between Tractor Supply and Taco Bell, they’re eager to get their handmade subs in your hands.  They have new ownership and a new business model compared to the previous business at the location.

Becoming Part of the Community
There are J-Dubb’s locations in Gun Lake and Saranac in addition to Lowell.  In early April a location in Portland will also open its doors. J-Dubb’s is new to the Lowell community but that hasn’t stopped them from being a contributor.  They sponsor a weekly Red Arrow Athletics senior student athlete.

Michael Willis, who handles public relations for the company, says they are community focused and have felt welcomed since they arrived.

Show Me a Sub
We focus very hard on having an excellent Michigan product.” says Willis of the company’s pride in using local resources.  Their large or gigantic subs are made hot or cold using products from Michigan. Their dressing is from Litehouse, bread originates from Grand Rapids, and their meat comes from Ada Valley Meat Company.

The Big Tasty and The Super Slam are customer favorites.  In addition to a sub, chips and soft drinks can be added to make a complete meal.  When the weather is cooler soups are also offered.

With fewer than 10 employees, if you become a regular, you’re more than likely to see a familiar face.  J-Dubb’s was a vendor at the recent Lowell Expo, meeting members of the community and offering samples of their product.  They were a popular stop for those who attended.  Like their Facebook page to keep up to date on specials and news. Their webpage also provides menu information and how they can help out with catering needs.
