Joshua McCracken Embraces New Role of Office Manager at Greenridge Realty Lowell Location

After two and a half to three years in the making, Joshua McCracken officially took over the role of Office Manager at the Greenridge Realty office in Lowell at the beginning of the year.  He is enjoying leading the team at the office and helping with their overall success.

Taking Caring to Heart

“We Care” is an integral part of the Greenridge Realty mission statement.  McCracken takes these two words seriously.  He wants his clients and fellow agents to know he cares.  In 2015 he was obtained the Rookie of the Year from Greenridge Realty and in 2016-2018 he was in the top 30 of over 400 agents throughout the company.

He was approached by former Office Manager Rick Seese about taking over the position a few years ago.  After deciding to have the baton passed to him, there was a year-long transition before McCracken officially took over the role in January.  Seese remains with Greenridge as a Realtor after opening the location three decades ago.  Seese and McCracken co-managed the office from June through December of last year.

Along with McCracken there are currently 18 agents working from the Lowell location.  Some are seasoned Realtors while others are up and coming. McCracken is there to help all of them put forth the high standards set by Greenridge Realty.  “I’ve always enjoyed people and this was a natural fit.” says McCracken of his new responsibilities.

Providing Leadership

As Office Manager, McCracken works at cultivating the team through a variety of ways.  He believes in empowering others in the office to continue the mission of caring. Weekly meetings keep everyone up to date on what’s currently going on in the market, learn about any changing legal information related to real estate, and team building.

McCracken encourages the team to not only engage with clients but the community.  He says approximately 75% of the people those in the office works with comes from prior connections.  Referrals from those Realtors have helped in the past, repeat clients, and getting out and meeting people is an important factor in making, building and keeping relationships.

While not typically something the office has to deal with, should any litigation or ethics situations become an issue with the office, it will be up to McCracken to resolve them.  Otherwise his role as coach, mentor and friend will be his main focus as he oversees the location. He has stepped back with regard to being in the running for various awards handed out by Greenridge Realty.  But he is happy to celebrate the success of Ryan Hesche, Lowell’s top agent and Dave VanKeulen who was recognized as one of the top agents in all of the Greenridge Realty locations.

Making a Mark in the Community

McCracken’s hope is the Lowell location will continue to support community endeavors as a business and through individual Realtor efforts.  This past holiday season Greenridge came up with a holiday lights show which won the Lowell Light & Power and Lowell Rotary Club Holiday Light Competition top honor in the business division.  Watch for some light-hearted and fun smack talk to begin over the summer at Greenridge looks to defend its title.

While still selling homes, McCracken is honored and happy to take on his new role as Office Manager at the Greenridge Realty.  He says he enjoys working with everyone in the office and looks forward to continuing a “We Care” approach to real estate.
