The American Legion Auxiliary’s Girls State is an excellent one-week program that will be held this year at MSU, from June 22 through June 28. Girls MUST be a high school Junior. This program will teach them civics by actually creating cities, counties and all of the legislators, judges, etc. through the voting process.

The Alto American Legion Auxiliary is hosting a Girls State orientation on Saturday May 3rd from 9:30-10:30.

Interested girls should contact our Girls State Chairwoman, Micki Snyder immediately (time is running out!) She can be reached at 616-323-6088 or [email protected] She will provide the details necessary to get signed up.
