We received the following press release from Lowell Light & Power about their upcoming Power Fest event.
Power Fest is a free event for all ages will be held at the LL&P Energy Center (625 Chatham St) on Thursday, Oct. 17th, from 5-7pm.
What you can expect to enjoy: Kids (and adult kids!) can try on line worker gear, meet line workers and check out a bucket truck. A mock pole will be set up so everyone can get a taste of what it’s like to use some of the equipment. We’ll alternate utility pole climbing and turbine demo’s, have coloring and craft stations, temporary tattoos and more! Lowell’s local food truck Around Baking Company will have their incredible pizzas, drinks and desserts available for purchase as well.
Attendees will receive a ticket at each station they visit. Tickets will be entries for some great giveaways of your choice, including: a LL&P Yeti, Camping Chair, super-snuggly blanket, Lowell Bucks & more!
It’s going to be a great celebration. Be sure to bring the family or invite a friend, and have some fun with the Lowell Light & Power team at #PowerFestPublicPower.
