Lowell’s First Look Hosts Photo Scavenger Hunt

Celebrate six months with us!  We’ve enjoyed learning about businesses, covering events, sharing information about numerous groups and organizations, and keeping the community up to date on local news.  It’s thanks to you, our readers and followers, that we’ve been so successful.

Our photo scavenger hunt will take you on a tour around Lowell.  You may visit places you’ve been to many times.  We also hope you’ll discover a new shop or organization you didn’t know existed or haven’t visited!   There will be a total of 25 photos you’ll seek between May 14-31.  Clues to the locations where items can be found and prizes will be revealed on May 14.  Winners will be announced no later than June 5.

Take a photo of the described item in its location.  If you’d like to appear in some or all of your photos it’s up to you.  Upload photos to a Flickr album titled Lowell’s First Look Scavenger Hunt.  If you don’t already have a Flickr account it’s free to create one.  Once all of the photos you wish to submit are in the folder send an email to [email protected] with a link to the album for us to review and verify photos submitted are correct.

One entry per person.  Only one photo per location.  And the same photo(s) cannot be used by more than one person.  The person who submits the most correct photos will be declared the winner.  If more than one person submits the greatest number of correct photos a winner will be selected at random from those entries.  There will also be items raffled off randomly to anyone who submits an entry with at least five correct photos.

A special thanks goes to the following businesses and organizations who are participating and especially donating an item as a prize.  This collaboration with us demonstrates what kind of area Lowell is and how fortunate we at Lowell’s First Look are to be your online news source for the community.

Those who are participating in our scavenger hunt include the following businesses and organizations. We thank them for their participation and donation of items for prizes.
