Antonio has lived in Lowell since 1996. He loves that it’s a small town and a tight-knit community.
In 2022, Antonio was looking for an apartment in Lowell … but they all had extremely long waiting lists. Then, he heard about affordable housing through FROM. After filling out the application, Antonio heard back very quickly that he was approved! He was delighted that the housing was safe, clean, and friendly.
“And there’s ice cream right across the street,” he adds. “Even better!”
Antonio has worked at a local factory for the past 5 years. Through FROM’s affordable housing, Antonio was able to save some money instead of living paycheck to paycheck. He now lives in a bigger place with his wife and three kids. He’s thrilled to be raising his children in Lowell.
Antonio is excited that FROM is working to secure more apartments at affordable prices, including larger ones. “It will be good because I know there’s a lot of families that need it,” he asserts.
The Lowell resident says he’s thankful to FROM for giving him the chance to live in affordable housing at a time when he needed it most.
