Pink Arrow XVII: Continuing the Fight Against Cancer

We received the following press release from Pink Arrow Pride.

Lowell, MI – Pink Arrow Pride remains steadfast in its mission to the Lowell community in lending emotional and financial support for families on a cancer journey. As we gear up for Pink Arrow XVII, Pink Arrow Pride continues to be a beacon of hope and support, benefitting the Gilda’s Club Lowell Clubhouse, the Lowell Area Community Wellness Organization, and maintaining student scholarships in memory of Kathy Talus and in honor of Dr. Gerard. With total donations now exceeding $1.5 million, we continue to be inspired by the incredible generosity and spirit of our small town.

Pink Arrow Pride has not only raised significant funds but also heightened awareness about the pervasive impact of cancer. Our initiative has brought to light the importance of community involvement and showcased our Lowell athletes’ unwavering commitment to family, kindness, honor, and service. As the saying goes, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others,” and this sentiment perfectly encapsulates the spirit of Pink Arrow Pride.

Introducing the New Food Truck Rally: A Delicious Way to Support Pink Arrow!

New this year is a Food Truck Rally, thanks to the Lowell Athletic Boosters. After years of faithful service from our local restaurants, we are transitioning to this new format to better support both onsite and offsite staffing needs. This decision was made with extensive community input, ensuring it aligns with the desires and needs of our supporters. The Food Truck Rally allows Pink Arrow to provide a variety of food options, enhancing the event experience for everyone. All participating food trucks are generously donating a percentage of their proceeds to Pink Arrow, directly contributing to our mission of aiding local families. Local restaurants will be offering specials the week of Pink Arrow with a percentage of those proceeds going to support Pink Arrow Pride, so be sure to stop in and support them.
