Preliminary Results for School Board Race Show Incumbents, Whitlock in Lead

There was plenty on the ballot for voters to decide during today’s general election. While we will have full results for you later, we know many are especially interested to learn the outcome of the Lowell Area Schools Board of Education race.

As a geographically large district, LAS extends into all the following jurisdictions:

• Ada Township
• Bowne Township
• Cannon Township
• Cascade Charter Township
• Grattan Township
• Lowell Charter Township
• Vergennes Township
• Lowell City
• Boston Twp/Ionia County
• Campbell Township/Ionia County
• Keene Township/Ionia County

Once all the results were tallied, these were the results. Winners are in bold.
