LowellArts Receives an Operational Support Grant from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs for Fiscal Year 2022

LOWELL, MI – LowellArts is proud to share that the organization received a grant award of $19,500 from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs for Fiscal Year 2022 that started on October 1, 2021. It is because of this support that we are able to provide our community with a variety of quality visual and performing arts programs and events for all ages as well as support services for area artists.

LowellArts mission is to connect regional artists and audiences through the visual and performing arts with a vision to have our community a vibrant hub for the arts, bringing audiences and artists together in quality environments. LowellArts stated purpose is to encourage the understanding, appreciation, and importance of the arts in the schools and communities we serve, and to provide expression and enjoyment of the arts to all segments of these communities.

This support will allow us to provide quality gallery exhibitions, theater and music performances, the annual Fallasburg Arts Festival, and arts classes and workshops. Our programs serve all ages and are often free-of-charge.

LowellArts is a 501(c)3 designated nonprofit organization. The purpose of a nonprofit is to provide programs and services identified by its community and defined by the nonprofit’s mission. LowellArts believes that the arts are an integral part of our quality of life and an important asset for the community it serves.
