We received the following event release information regarding the Run the Riverwalk 5k event happening during Riverwalk Festival. You can get additional information at the event’s Facebook page or the Riverwalk website. Registration for the event can be done online.
Join us for the 2017 Run the Riverwalk 5k!
Run or walk the Riverwalk with us. This is a family friendly route in downtown Lowell. Event is open to walkers, runners, students, adults & families. This is a stroller friendly course. There will be prizes for the top male and female finishers in both the student and adult divisions.
All proceeds raised from this event will support a community of widows and orphans in Swaziland, Africa. The funds will provide assistance for food, school fees, building project and a team of volunteers to reach out physically in August 2017. This is a great opportunity for our local community to make a difference in a small community halfway across the world.
All participants will get a t-shirt. After 6/23 all event shirts and sizes will be first come, first serve and limited to availability so sign up early!
Race fees: $25/adult; $15 /student (18 & under)
Discounted rate of $60 for a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 children)
