Scenes from Lowell: 2018 Christmas Through Lowell Edition

The 2018 Christmas Through Lowell event is in full swing today. Crafter homes and downtown businesses will be welcoming shoppers until 7pm tonight on November 17, and many will also be open on Sunday, November 18, from 11am-5pm.

The streets of Lowell are bustling, and here’s a peek at some of what is bringing the crowds to town.

At Cute and Clever Crafters — stop #26 at 800 Bowes Rd — you’ll find an assortment of goodies including these adorable snowmen candles.

Across the street, at the Manor Market Place (stop #42), vendors at Schneider Manor have pulled out the stops with a wide variety of handmade goods.

You’ll find wall decor, handcrafted wood products, sweet treats and more inside.

You can head to the Christian Life Center, stop #22 at 3050 Alden Nash SE, where the Lowell Women of the Moose are hosting vendors selling all sorts of items, including these homemade preserves.

Over at Studio 506 — stop #31 at 506 Lafayette St — there are homemade sweets, outdoor decor and these signs.

Don’t forget to head to the back of Studio 506 where you’ll find more items including these stockings that are perfect for anyone who loves vintage or rustic holiday decor.

Feeling hungry? Head to the Chamber building on the Riverwalk before 2pm, and these lovely ladies will be happy to hook you up with lunch. The Lowell Women’s Club is serving up homemade soup, sandwiches and pies with proceeds going to support scholarships for Lowell High School students.

Or you could head to one of the downtown restaurants for a bite to eat. It was a full house at Sweet Seasons on Main Street at lunch time.

Even businesses that aren’t selling items you can put under the tree are getting into the holiday spirit this weekend. This is an indoor display at All Weather Seal on Main Street. Stop by to get your Christmas Through Lowell card punched and enjoy some free snacks and drinks.

Next door, you’ll find all sorts of treasures at Flat River Cottage.

Christmas may still be a month away but Lowell looks and feels like the holidays this weekend. What is your favorite Christmas Through Lowell stop? Tell us in the comments below or on our Facebook page.
