Homecoming is an annual tradition at high schools and colleges throughout the country, and Lowell High School held its 2024 Homecoming Parade and Game last Friday, Oct. 4.
Here’s a look back at the sights and sounds of the night.

The Homecoming Parade is different from every other Lowell parade in that it starts on the east side of town. That gave a green backdrop to the parade which led with the Lowell Police Department escorting the Color Guard.

This year’s Grand Marshal was Christine Beachler, the director of library media services for Lowell Area Schools.

The LAS Marching Bands are always a popular part of every Lowell parade. The Homecoming Parade featured both the high school…

…and middle school bands.

While the varsity football team was warming up for their big game, Lowell Youth Football was well represented in the parade.

The cheerleaders were also out in force.

There were representatives from each class…

…and members of the Senior Court got to ride in style.

Several other school groups, such as the National Honor Society, were represented too.

And of course, we can’t forget our Lowell bus drivers!

It was a high scoring game with plenty of action.

And it wouldn’t be Homecoming without a king and queen. Blake Sitzer was selected as the 2024 Homecoming King…

…and Allison Munson was the 2024 Homecoming Queen.

When the final whistle blew, Lowell had come out on top by a score of 56-35. It was a great night to be a Red Arrow.
