Scenes from Lowell: Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow Edition

We got our first meaningful snowfall this week. It didn’t just snow. It snowed and it snowed and it snowed.

It snowed on the Showboat.

It snowed on City Hall.

It snowed so much that it seemed as if all the birds in the historic district neighborhood flocked to this tree by the library for shelter.

At least one local teen didn’t quite make it home successfully on Wednesday. However, Lowell students didn’t have to worry about the roads on Thursday when slippery conditions called for a snow day.

All in all, a LOT of snow fell on Lowell this week.

However, the snow has now stopped, and the sidewalks are clear. Today would be a great day to head downtown, do some holiday shopping and enjoy the winter wonderland we call home.
