Scenes from Lowell: Love Week Edition

Impact Church’s Love Week has been a staple in the Lowell community for the past 10 years. For about half of that time, Bob Rogers has been at the helm coordinating projects with local organizations and seeking volunteers to oversee them and perform work that is needed. This year 32 projects were scheduled for the week with First Baptist once again lending some helping hands. Even with rain causing nine of the projects to be rescheduled, numerous locations throughout the community received some love.

Various projects throughout Lowell Area Schools take place each here. Here some fresh paint is being applied at Alto Elementary School.

The Riverwalk was another area of focus this year with light poles and railings getting a make-over.

Both inside and outside projects took place at Flat River Outreach Ministries.

Clean up in the south dam clearing also took place.

Senior Neighbors was another stop for Love Week volunteers.
