LowellArts wrapped up its 2018 House Concert series this past weekend on a high note. The trio MacRaven & Mora brought their melodic music to Main Street for a concert that also served as the debut of their new CD “The Power of Three.”
The group includes Steve VanRavenswaay on cello…
…Susan Mora on violin…
…and Roger MacNaughton on piano.
MacRaven & Mora played on Sunday afternoon to a capacity crowd of nearly 100 people. The lighting and atmosphere of the event perfectly complemented the instrumental music of the group which ranged in mood from haunting to serene.
Everyone in attendance walked away with a CD copy of “The Power of Three” so the music could continue at home. If you missed the concert and want to hear the group for yourself, stop by the MacRaven & Mora Facebook page.
The 2018 LowellArts House Concert series included 14 concerts of various genres. There were four youth and family concerts that were made possible through support of the Lowell Rotary Club. Other series sponsors include Larkin’s Restaurant, Flat River Grill, Main Street Inn and Local Spins.
The 2019 series will start in January with a performance from The Ryne Experience/The Preservers. For the full line-up, visit the LowellArts website.
