Scenes From Lowell: Summer Fest Edition

The Lowell Area Historical Museum Summer Fest was held on Friday August 17th.   Summer Fest is an annual Fundraiser for the Museum that showcases local food and beverages.

Plenty of options were available for sampling.   Local brews from New Union Brewery, Big Boiler Brewing as well as Gravel Bottom Craft Brewery were enjoyed by all.   A selection of Michigan ciders and wines were also available for tasting.

Blue Grass Music by the Easy Idle String Band played in the background.

Meanwhile, inside the Museum, a beautiful display of fresh baked goods and locally grown melons by Heidi’s Farmstand and Bakery were being happily sampled by attendees.

A few caterers were also offering up treats.

Outside, the garden party setting provided a relaxing venue to enjoy spending time with some familiar faces.
