Scenes from Lowell: The Maize Maze Edition

We recently published a list of some fall activities in the Lowell area.  Below are some photos from some of the locations we have visited.  There’s still time to check out these locations before October ends.  Each of these locations offer a maze as well as other activities.

The corn maze at Heidi’s Farm Stand is the most challenging in the area.

Heidi’s maze fairly large and a punch card with a mission to find different stations throughout the maze provides some added fun – with a cider slushie reward for completion.  There’s also an easier maze for younger kids or those not interested in a bigger challenge.

In addition to the maze and products available for purchase at Heidi’s, the tube slides are a hit with the younger crowd.

Who needs sand, when corn can be used to play with various vehicles and containers (also found at Heidi’s)?

Travel a little north of Lowell to Red Barn Market for more fall festivities.  They also have a store where fall produce can be purchased in addition to a full menu of food and ice cream.

The Spooky Barn Maze and Haunted Barn Maze is a slightly different take on a corn maze.  It’s indoors.  Guests weave their way through different spooky scenes – here a camper.

Low light and fog are also part of the barn maze.  The Haunted version also includes live actors and a more scary experience.  Only those 10 and over are admitted to this version.

Olin Farm is another location where guests can take in a corn maze as well as a hayride.

Solomon and Moses are gentle giants on site greeting guests.

There are still a couple of weekends left to take in these mazes within the Lowell community!
