Scenes from Lowell: The On the Move Edition

This week lots of people in the community were on the move.  In part because there’s hope the snow has finally moved on for good (well until the fall).  This time of year students around the community are busy going on field trips, having concerts, and more as the school year comes to a close.

Curiosity Corner Preschool 4s classes took a trip to the Wittenbach Wege Center this week.  They got to take a close look at frogs, including their eggs and the stages they go through in becoming frogs.

Boy Scouts of America Scrap Metal Collection site at the Lowell Fairgrounds.  They’re taking metal through May 5.

Dirt was being moved around this week at the future home of Impact Church.

 

A home on Pleasant Street was loaded up and moved to a new location.

WRWW celebrated National High School Radio Station Day on Wednesday, April 25.

The utility shed at Richards Park caught on fire Friday afternoon.  But thanks to the quick work of the Lowell Area Fire Authority, it was taken care of quickly and no one was hurt.

Members of the Arbor Board were on hand to plant a tree in front of Rhonda Tire on April 27th.

Finally, customers were on the move to make it in to Mi Hometown Furnishings for their first anniversary sales.  Other businesses in downtown Lowell also offered sales and specials as part of the celebration.
