Scenes from Lowell: Girls Night Out Edition

The Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a Girls Night Out event this past Thursday. The ladies of Lowell were invited to come out, decked in their favorite sports team attire, and hit the town. Many businesses were running specials, giving away freebies or pouring drinks for their visitors. Plus, there were brownies, cupcakes, chili and veggie trays scattered throughout the shops, making for a traveling feast for those in attendance.

Big Boiler Brewery was offering to power up Girls Night Out participants with some drink specials.

Next door, people were browsing the eclectic offerings of Mi Home Furnishings.

At Tap House Bo, people browsed the the clothes up front and enjoyed drinks, cupcakes and chili from Miss P’s Catering in the Tea Room in the back.

Traffic was steady on Main Street and most lots were full as people streamed into downtown.

The city put up pedestrian walking cones to help people safely get from one side of Main Street to the other.

The Euphoria Boutique saw many people stopping by to check out the latest styles.

The freebies at A Charmed Life included pedicure masques.

As usual, All-Weather Seal had a generous spread of food which brought in plenty of people to sample the goodies and mingle.

People crowded into Flat River Cottage to check out their collection of unique furniture and decor items.

Some businesses hosted other vendors for Girls Night Out. The LuLaRoe pop-up boutique at Farm Bureau Insurance was a popular stop.

Girls Night Out provided a chance for people to visit their favorite shops and also get acquainted with new businesses.

The event ran until 9pm, and then it was time for the fun to be done. If you missed this Girls Night Out, watch for another one in the spring.
