Scenes from Lowell: Kent County Youth Fair Edition

The sun set on Saturday for the last time closing out the last day of this year’s fair.  As the grounds are put back to pre-fair condition some are already looking forward to next year’s fair.  Here’s a look back at just a few of the happenings from this year’s Raising the Steaks fair.

Numerous exhibits were on display.  Kids worked hard in the weeks and months leading up to fair week to create their entries.

The horse barns are filled participating in various competitions with their human counterparts.

Team performance games required a team working together to perform certain tasks.

Other animals called barns their home for the week.  Showings, agility testing, and more took place throughout the week with kids showing off rabbits, pigs, cows, and more.

Pig races provided fair goers with entertainment.  Smiles, laughter, and cheers encouraged the pigs.

Ninjas on the Move spent the week giving kids the opportunity to run the course.  If you missed the course last week or want to try it again Drew will be set up during the Pink Arrow game on September 8.

And finally, it’s not a fair without carnival rides (and food!).
