While last night’s close game didn’t go the way the home team would have liked, the spirit of the day couldn’t be matched. Many woke up today still feeling the high from the Pink Arrow Game.
Billboards around the community reminded everyone about the upcoming game.

Bushnell Elementary School students ready to start Pink Arrow Friday!
Students were bused to the football field for a special event. They filed on to the field filling in space to make an arrow.
Each class in the district had a spot to stand with younger students toward the tip of the arrow.
Just about ready for the helicopter to fly over.

In the afternoon Dave Bray tested the sound system in preparation for his performance in the evening.
Teresa Beachum talks with Bill Kohler. Bill traveled from Pennsylvania to speak to football players and experience Pink Arrow. Earlier this year he lost his young son to DIPG, a rare form of brain cancer.
The pre-game walk celebrated survivors and honored those who are no longer suffering.
Then it was game time! Pink Arrow X is underway!

The night didn’t end with a win but the spirit of the game and Pink Arrow Pride cause remained true. Pink Arrow X is now complete. But next year everyone young and old will again show how the community comes together in order to support their own when it comes to dealing with cancer and grief.
