Scenes from Lowell: Spending Time Outside Edition

It was a good week to spend time enjoying the outdoors!

Bushnell and Cherry Creek students participated in their first Mileage Club of the year.  Tuesdays and Thursdays during the month of May kids can run or walk a course.  For each completed lap they receive a jelly bracelet.

Curiosity Corner preschoolers visited Wittenbach this week.  They went on a hike, had a story read to them in the woods, and planted some marigold seeds to take home.

Lowell Little League continues to hold practice and play games.

Lowell High School’s FFA students showed off farm animals during their annual Day on the Farm event.  Visitors were able to see pigs, sheep, goats, chicken, and a calf.

This duck family is enjoying the river.  Happy Mother’s Day mama duck!

Construction along Jefferson Street continues to progress.

Did you spend any time this week outside?   What did you do?
