The Lowell Riddler: Riddle #19 Solved!

The Lowell Riddler is hiding medallions in the City of Lowell and offering area residents the chance to win a prize of local gift cards. Look for a new clue or riddle each Saturday!

It took four clues before the 19th riddle was solved, but Rich and Barb Smith had an inkling of the answer after the second clue was published. “The first clue that led us to the medallion was ‘admired down the street,'” they said. Then, when the fourth clue mentioned the word Gee, they knew they would find the medallion on a wall near the street of the same name.

Here are the answers:

Clue #1

Clue #2

As you stroll past.
On the Trailway
The spot where it’s not quite complete.

Clue #3
It’s not just another brick.

A half block down does the trick.
Under the half block in the wall – north end
Scrambled in greed.
Greed unscrambled = Gee Dr.
Cracked but won’t bleed.
In the crack under the half block
Top shelf is the best you can pick.

Clue #4
You should know by now there’s a wall and
A crack where the prize has fallen.
There on the trail,
Rubber band for a tail.
Gee, find it already, stop stallin’.
The retaining wall on the trail near the corner of Gee Dr.
