We received the following information from Flat River Outreach Ministries.
For March we’d like to recognize our Medical Equipment Loan team pictured below (from L to R: Amy, Denise, Susan, Elaine, and Marv).
You may not realize all the work that goes in to our Medical Equipment Loan and it’s all done by this team of 5 volunteers. They clean, inspect, test, and fix donated and returned medical equipment to make sure that it is ready and safe for us to loan out to members of our community who are in need of medical equipment.
This team all started volunteering at different times (from 2011 through 2018), but their combined service equals 25 years! They come in once a week and, in the last 14 months, they have volunteered almost 300 hours. Thanks to their dedication, we were able to loan out 579 piece of medical equipment in 2019!
Thank you so much for your dedication to FROM and to service for our neighbors in need. We appreciate the time you take to make sure we are serving our community well.
If you have a piece of medical equipment that is in good working order that you no longer use, consider donating it to FROM to benefit our neighbors in need.
