“Thanks for noticin’ me” – Eeyore
I might share a name with a famously gloomy donkey, but I promise I’m all sunshine and cuddles! Unlike that Disney character, I’m a lovable guy who adores my human friends, leaning in for snuggles and giving sweet little kisses. I’m a fan of calm introductions, so I’d thrive best in a peaceful home with someone who understands I might need a little extra time to settle in. Like many rescue dogs, I’ve been through some tough times, but I’m ready to find my forever person who will help me feel safe and loved.
I’m already crate-trained, know a few commands, and have a treat-motivated heart that’ll make our training sessions a breeze! I love the water (as long as I can feel the bottom beneath me) and am a true toy enthusiast—I enjoy carrying my toys on walks, playing fetch, and hanging out on my bed with a favorite squeaky.
Since moving to my foster home, I’ve discovered a love for cozy pajamas and am a big fan of cuddles. I enjoy hanging out with my fluffy golden foster host, so I could see myself with a playful canine buddy, though I’d prefer a cat-free home.
Ready to meet a new friend for life? Head over to Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary’s website, fill out an application, and don’t forget to mention my name! Can’t wait to meet you!

Bruno is a 17 pound, 3 year old Pom/Pek Mix – or Pekeranian Mix (patent pending) as we like to call him. Bruno is an adorable little ball of cuteness. He loves playing fetch, frolicking with the other dogs in his foster home, and going for walks. He is going to bring an incomprehensible amount of cuteness to a very lucky home. Bruno is crate trained and doing an excellent job with his house training. He does well with other dogs and older, respectful children. Bruno is neutered and up to date on shots. His adoption fee is $275.

Here is their pet of the week.
