Alto Early Act Club Collects Nearly 600 Toys for Toys for Tots

We received the following information from Lowell Area Schools.

The Alto Elementary Early Act Club gathered 598 toys for Toys for Tots, a charitable program overseen by the United States Marine Corps since 1947

Amber Stirrup’s class achieved third place, contributing 70 toys, while Laura Kamp’s class secured second place with a notable collection of 64 toys. Kelsey Schult’s class claimed the top honor, receiving a pizza party to celebrate their outstanding achievement and leading with an impressive 105 toys.

Aligned with the principles of Rotary International, the Early Act Club embodies the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self.” This commitment to community service aims to instill a sense of responsibility and empathy in the students.

Toys for Tots will distribute these gifts to children in need, offering hope to families facing challenges this holiday season. The Early Act Club’s commitment to service and the success of this toy drive highlight the effectiveness of community collaboration in creating meaningful change.
