Costumes, Candy, and Community: Halloween Festival at Lowell UMC

Mark your calendars for a spooktacular time in Lowell! On Saturday, October 26th, from 3-5pm, Blast Youth Group will host their 3rd Annual Halloween Festival at the Lowell United Methodist Church (UMC), located at 621 E Main St.

This family-friendly event is part of the group’s outreach efforts to bring the community together, and it’s free to attend. While there is no cost to participate, donations are appreciated and will support the youth group’s mission trip in June 2025. At that time, they will travel to Wisconsin to work on a Native American Reservation with local youth.

The Halloween Festival offers a variety of activities that are sure to delight attendees of all ages. Carnival games, each with candy or Halloween-themed prize, will be scattered throughout the event. Everyone is encouraged to wear costumes, but it’s not required to join in the fun.

A highlight of the event is the Hall of Darkness, which features glow-in-the-dark stickers, a fog machine, and eerie blacklights, guiding participants to the indoor Trunk or Treat. This year, the festival introduces an exciting new addition—a Silly Monster Cakewalk, offering cupcakes from a professional baker.

With so much to enjoy, this Halloween Festival promises to be a fantastic afternoon for the community, full of treats, games, and spooky fun. Don’t miss out on the festivities!
