Love is in the air, and so is Casanova!

This little dapper dude came to MAS on Valentine’s Day with his mom and 7 siblings. They are all on the hunt for their forever homes, and they come packed with love, joy, and endless puppy kisses! Casanova may be just a tiny bundle of fur right now, but his heart is as big as his dreams of finding the perfect family to call his own!

While we can’t predict his exact size when he’s fully grown, we can tell you that mom tips the scales at around 50lbs, so he may follow in her paw prints! These playful pups are in full-blown puppy mode, ready to chase balls, play tug-of-war, and embark on adventures with their new best friends (before a well-deserved nap and cuddle session)! Being so young, Casanova would be happy to be a part of any home with other dogs, cats, and kids – all fun playmates and excellent role models!

Now is the prime time to work on his training and social skills, ensuring he grows up to be a well-behaved, perfect gentleman. With a little patience, consistency, and a whole lot of love, Casanova is sure to blossom into the most wonderful companion.

If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this cutie or one of his siblings, visit the MAS website and submit your application today! They can’t wait to wiggle their way into your life and fill your days with laughter, love, and puppy cuddles galore! Adopt Casanova and embark on a journey of unconditional love and lifelong companionship!

Rose aka Rosie is a 5 pound, 2 month old Hound Mix Puppy with the most expressive, hilarious facial expressions and the most outgoing, fun personality. She is so much fun to be around – hanging out with her is like hanging out with a very tiny Melissa McCarthy – but with way less profanity. Rosie loves wrestling with her doggie roomies, especially her brother Luke (he’s also available for adoption through Hearts of Hope!) and she is always ready to cuddle and watch Hulu with her humans. Rosie is crate trained and doing a fantastic job with her house training; she does very well with other dogs. She would do best in a home without smaller children due to her size. Rosie is spayed and up to date on shots. Her adoption fee is $300. To adopt Rosie apply online.

Second Chance Cats of West Michigan

Second Chance Cats is a 501(c)3 non-profit with a mission to help cats at municipal shelters who are at risk for euthanasia or were deemed unadoptable because of behavioral or medical issues. The group also works with other private rescues that are overcrowded and helps rehome cats that have been assessed as friendly when going through the trap-neuter-return process.  Here is their pet of the week.

Meet Babette, the purr-fect companion looking for her forever home! This delightful little bundle of fur is as charming as she is beautiful. With her strikingly luxurious fur and a tail fluffier than a cloud, Babette is sure to steal your heart from the moment you meet her.

Babette is a social butterfly who adores human company. She thrives on affection and loves nothing more than being pet and chin scratches. Her gentle purrs are like music to your ears as you shower her with love and attention.

Playtime is Babette’s favorite time of day! She’s endlessly curious and playful, always ready to chase after a toy or pounce on a feather. Watching her bound around the room with joy is sure to bring a smile to your face.

Babette prefers to reign solo. She’s not particularly fond of other felines, so she needs to be the only cat in her new home. With all the love and attention she has to offer, though, you won’t need anyone else!

You can visit Babette at Chow Hound located at 2490 Burton St., SE.

Babette has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $120. Babette is about 7 months old.

Apply to adopt Babette here.

If you are interested in any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4.
