Lowell High School Welcomes Mallery Yaw as New Girls Lacrosse Coach

Lowell, MI – April 4, 2024 – Lowell High School is thrilled to announce the appointment of Mallery Yaw as the new Girls Lacrosse Coach for the Red Arrows. A proud graduate of Lowell High School and former standout player for the Lowell Lacrosse team, Coach Yaw brings a wealth of experience, passion, and dedication to her new role.

During her time at Lowell High School, Coach Yaw distinguished herself as an All-Conference player and team captain, leaving an indelible mark on the program. Her exceptional talent and leadership on the field are further reflected in the numerous program records she holds in lacrosse.

Beyond her impressive athletic achievements, Coach Yaw is known for her unwavering commitment to excellence and her desire to empower young women both on and off the field. With a blend of outgoing competitiveness and a compassionate approach, she is dedicated to fostering the growth and success of her players, nurturing their individual and team goals.

Currently employed at Corewell Health Foundation as an Event Operations Coordinator, Coach Yaw brings strong organizational skills and a wealth of experience to the Girls Lacrosse program. Her passion for creating an environment where each individual can thrive and contribute to the collective success of the team will undoubtedly inspire her players to reach new heights.

Athletic Director Patrick Russell expressed his enthusiasm for Coach Yaw’s appointment, stating, “We are thrilled to have Coach Yaw leading our Girls Red Arrows Lacrosse program. It’s always exciting to see former athletes return to Lowell High School and give back to academic athletics.”
