Hope Network to Host February Direct Support Professional Hiring Events
GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. – Hope Network, the Michigan-based healthcare and life services provider, will be hosting Direct Support Professional hiring events in the Grand Rapids area later this month. The first event will take place in Grand Rapids on February 21, while the second will take place in Lowell on February 26.
Direct Support Professionals at Hope Network help people suffering from brain and spinal cord injuries, mental illness, or developmental disabilities lead self-directed lives and integrate into their communities. The position does not require an educational degree or related experience.
“Our Direct Support Professionals are an integral part of Hope Network and our organization wouldn’t be where it is if it wasn’t for them,” said Chief Human Resource Officer Lona Litson. “It takes a hardworking, dedicated person to be a Direct Support Professional, and that’s the exact type of person both Grand Rapids and Lowell are known for.”
Job seekers interested in growing their careers in health care, social work, therapy or nursing are encouraged to attend the hiring events, at which Hope Network staff will be directly hiring for part-time and full-time roles. Attendee résumés are appreciated, but not required.
