Scenes from Lowell: Maple Ridge Manor Hosts Car Show for Residents

The residents of Maple Ridge Manor had a special treat last night.  In honor of Father’s Day, which is this weekend, staff at the assisted living and memory care facility arranged for a car show to be held in their parking lot.

Members of the community brought their classic cars and other vehicles to the facility located at the corner of Foreman Street and Alden Nash Ave.

The weather cooperated beautifully so residents could take their time checking out the cars.

The cars started to arrive shortly after dinner on Wednesday….

…and included a variety of vehicles from days gone by.

In addition to 13 cars and a bus, this MK23 military truck made an appearance too.

It was certainly a treat, and Maple Ridge Manor appreciates all the vehicle owners who helped make the car show possible.

“The smiles on our residents’ faces were beautiful,” says Lisa Mills, Director of Excitement at the facility. “They will be talking about this for a while.”
